The Many Faces of Druids in WoW

This is Demonangel (now known as Shiftingbell on Burning Legion) and his many druid forms in World of Warcraft.

Honestly, this particular piece probably remains one of the most complicated drawings I’ve done to date, mostly because of the details that were required for all of the individual forms (not just the main character). There had to be a balance that was kept to ensure there was character highlight but also not too much clutter — all within an 8.5x11” sheet of paper.

Everything was first sketched out with pencil, then outlined with Staedtler fineliners. Finally color was layered with colored pencil.
